Love.

Education.

Community.

Malcolm X Academy is a full-time K-8 community homeschool modeled after the Black Panther Party’s Oakland Community School.

Malcolm X Academy was founded with the goal of providing our community with a holistic community school that exists outside of the colonial public school system. Our students and families deserve to learn and grow in community schools committed to serving their basic needs and developing their skills for the future. We believe in the power of love and understand the importance of education as a major stepping stone toward freedom for Black & Brown youth globally.

Most importantly, we believe in carrying on the mission of the Black Panther Party’s 5th Point which states “We Want Education for Our People That Exposes The True Nature Of This Decadent American Society. We Want Education That Teaches Us Our True History And Our Role in the Present-Day Society..” In building the Malcolm X Academy and all its community programs, we are asserting that education is key to providing Afrikan and Indigenous students with neighborhoods free of colonial, carceral, and inherently racist systems.

Help Us Build a future for our children.

No one is going to give you the education you need to overthrow them. Nobody is going to teach you your true history, teach you your true heroes, if they know that that knowledge will help set you free.”
